Wake Up! Bush Is Serious

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Bush administration is not establishing any democracies. It is starting a war that will last a generation. That is the neocon plan. They have put their intentions in writing just as Hitler did. It is no protection that their plan is detached from reality. Robespierre was detached from reality, and that did not stop him. So were Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot. People with power in their hands who are detached from reality are the most dangerous people of all. The delusional quality of their rantings disarms people from taking them seriously: "Oh, they couldn't mean that." But they do.

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man: How the U.S. Uses Globalization to Cheat Poor Countries Out of Trillions

-------------------------------------------------------------------
We speak with John Perkins, a former respected member of the international banking community. In his book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man he describes how as a highly paid professional, he helped the U.S. cheat poor countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars by lending them more money than they could possibly repay and then take over their economies.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

this is exactly how the IMF/World Bank runs its business. This is what globalization is all about. Obviously, rich yountries support it while thirld world countries are against it. (Every year we see the G8/World Economic Forums in our rich western countries. At the same time, the third world countires hold their own World Social Forum in poor copuntires, usually in Porto Alegre, Brazil. )

Michel Chossudovsky has an excellent book on globalization- The Globalization of Poverty and the New World Order. In this book, one can clearly see how the IMF/World Bank deliberately made poor countries their slaves, forcing them to shut down industries, only to be taken over by rich western countries.

The Salvador Option

The war is not going as planned in Iraq. The U.S. is suffering heavy casualties. Now Rumsfeld is considering a change in plans. The Salvador Option. In other words, the creation of death squads, that kill innocent civilians, but which are true to their masters.

Two politicians that were active during the Reaganite atrocitites in Central America, Elliot Abrams, and John Negroponte, are back in the U.S. government, this time under George W. Bush, to continue their dirty work.

The U.S. government has through its own actions and decions, made itself the most hated government in the world.

Rangel to reintroduce notorious draft bill

which means, more American kids will die in wars (based on lies), where big mighty politicians get richer.

The Patriot Act Just Got A Whole Lot Worse

-------------------------------------------------------------------
In effect, the government says, 'Give us your freedoms, and we will protect you.' Such a satanic bargain never has worked. The government doesn't give us our freedoms. Our freedoms come from our humanity. We give the government its power.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

The Patriot Act and its progeny are the most abominable, unconstitutional congressional assaults on personal freedom since the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 made it a crime to libel the government. With them, Congress and the president have attempted to legitimize the exchange of liberty for security. In effect, the government says, “Give us your freedoms, and we will protect you.” Such a satanic bargain misunderstands the nature of freedom and historically never has worked.

No rational person has ever voluntarily given up his own freedoms. Sacrificing freedom has never made us safer, just less free.

If we allow the president and Congress to treat our constitutional guarantees as if they were arbitrary gifts from the government, we will be doing the terrorists' work for them. The government doesn't give us our freedoms. We give the government its power. Our freedoms come from our humanity. Shouldn't the government be defending our freedoms rather than curtailing them? Didn't the president and members of Congress swear to uphold the Constitution rather than evade it?

U.S. island base given warning

aHA! so the U.S. knew something was going to happen, yet they didnt warn the Asian countries about it...

i got very suspicious after the U.S. decided to give hundreds of millions of dollars for "catastrophe relief". Most of this money went to Indonesia. Why? Because of Aceh province. Aceh is very rich in oil and natural gas reserves. So, obviously the U.S. will want a foothold there. Typical U.S. foreign policy....

Disgusting I say.

Europe Retreats From America's Quagmire

good! it was an illegal war anyways!

i just hope Angela Merkel or Edmund Stoiber (both CDU) do NOT win in the next German elections. If they do, we will see German troops in Iraq, against the will of the population.
